Origin and Habitat
‘Maybatch’ is a cultivated Aeonium hybrid of uncertain parentage. As a horticultural selection, it does not have a natural habitat. Aeonium species and their hybrids are succulent members of the Crassulaceae and are grown for their distinctive terminal rosettes, branching habits, and remarkable seasonal foliage colours.
Description
Aeonium ‘Maybatch’ is an ornamental hybrid selected for its attractive rosette growth and colourful foliage. Fleshy leaves are densely arranged into symmetrical terminal rosettes, with colour and rosette form changing according to season, temperature, light intensity, and moisture. Plants are most actively growing during cooler conditions and may tighten their rosettes considerably during summer dormancy.

Temperature: 10–25 °C; protect from freezing temperatures.
Growth Rate: Moderate during the cool growing season.
Soil: Porous, rapidly draining cactus and succulent soil amended with pumice.
Watering: Water thoroughly during active growth and allow partial drying between applications. Keep considerably drier during summer dormancy.
Fertilizing: Feed lightly with dilute balanced fertilizer during active growth.
Light: Bright filtered light or gentle direct sun. Good light promotes compact rosettes and stronger colour.
Pests and Diseases: Mealybugs, aphids, and scale may occur. Poor drainage and excessive summer watering can cause rot.
Propagation
Stem and rosette cuttings are the preferred methods of propagation. Allow freshly cut surfaces to callus before potting. Vegetative propagation preserves the named cultivar.
