Welcome to Valley Succulents, a family-operated specialty nursery located in Comox on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. For more than a decade, we have specialized in growing and sourcing a diverse collection of cacti, succulents, hardy plants, rare botanical specimens, and cactus and succulent seeds for gardeners and collectors across Canada.

Our goal is to offer something for every grower, from popular and dependable varieties to unusual species, hybrids, variegated plants, and hard-to-find collector material.

Cacti & Succulents
Our collection includes a wide range of cacti and succulents from around the world. Explore popular genera such as Echeveria, Haworthia, Aloe, Agave, Aeonium, Crassula, Euphorbia, Astrophytum, Echinopsis, Ferocactus, Gymnocalycium, and Mammillaria, along with caudiciforms, succulent Asclepiads, and many other unusual plants.

Our inventory changes throughout the year as new plants become available, allowing collectors to regularly discover something different.

We also specialize in cold-hardy cacti, succulents, and specialty perennials suitable for Canadian gardens. Our hardy collections include Sempervivum, Sedum, Yucca, hardy Cyclamen, selected hardy cacti, and other drought-tolerant or unusual garden plants.

Growing from seed is one of the best ways to develop a diverse and unusual plant collection. Valley Succulents offers an extensive selection of cactus and succulent seeds in Canada, including individual species and specialty seed collections.

We have a particular interest in rare and unusual plants. Throughout the year, our collection may include uncommon cacti and succulents, caudiciforms, Asclepiads, variegated plants, specimen plants, specialty perennials, and other botanical curiosities.

Because many of these plants are produced or available in limited quantities, our online selection is continually changing.

Our nursery and greenhouse are located in Comox, Vancouver Island, BC, where we grow and maintain an extensive collection of specialty plants.

Customers are welcome to visit our nursery during seasonal opening hours, and our online store makes our collection available to growers throughout the country. Plants and seeds are shipped across Canada, subject to seasonal weather conditions and current shipping policies.
