Selected from South African Delosperma species adapted to rocky slopes and arid environments, ‘Jewel of the Desert Grenade’ combines vivid flower coloration with outstanding cold hardiness and drought tolerance.
Description:
This compact spreading succulent reaches 2–4 inches tall and spreads 18–24 inches wide. Evergreen foliage is covered with brilliant deep magenta-red flowers with bright centers through summer. Excellent for rock gardens, dry slopes, edging, and gravel plantings where vivid color is desired.
