Cyclamen hardy

Hardy Cyclamen are tuberous perennials prized for their reflexed flowers and distinctive patterned foliage. Species such as Cyclamen hederifolium and Cyclamen coum thrive in well-drained, humus-rich soil and partial shade, making them excellent for woodland gardens, rock gardens, and planting beneath deciduous trees. Depending on species, flowers appear from late summer through early spring in shades of white, pink, rose, and magenta. Foliage varies considerably, with green, pewter, and highly ornamental silver-leaf forms. Plants have a natural seasonal dormancy and may be shipped with little or no visible foliage during their dormant period.
