Trichocereus
Trichocereus are a group of columnar cacti from South America. These cacti can grow up to 30' high with an annual growth of 12" if given the right conditions. Many species will flower with age and reward you with an incredible show. Taxonomists now include Trichoceus in Echinopsis genius but with such large columnar cacti being placed with small growing barrels there is still much confusion. Even still these plants have a place in every collection.
