Senecio
Senecio's are one of the largest genera of flowering plants. There are over 1250 species of varied form, including leaf, stem and tuber succulents, annuals, perennials, aquatics, climbers, shrubs and small trees. Succulent forms vary from medium sized bushes, small fleshy succulent ground plants to hanging succulent plants. Succulent Senicio grow in a variety of light conditions from full sun to part shade or dappled light. Some are summer growers and some are winter growers. All species flower yellow flowers at the beginning of their growing season. Many species are quite hardy surviving temps right down to frost. With the shear variety and out worldly appearance, this is definitely a group of plants worth collecting.
