Pot Size: 3.5"

Accepted Scientific Name:
Sedum 'Lime Twister'

Origin and Habitat:
Sedum 'Lime Twister' is a cultivated variety developed from species within the Sedum genus, native to rocky outcrops, alpine meadows, and open grasslands across Europe and Asia. These environments feature well-drained, mineral-rich soils and wide temperature fluctuations, which make Sedum species particularly resilient. 'Lime Twister' has inherited the hardy, drought-tolerant nature of its parentage and was selected for its bold variegated foliage and adaptability in ornamental settings, including borders, containers, and rock gardens.

Description:
Sedum 'Lime Twister' is a compact, clump-forming succulent that grows up to 6 inches tall and spreads approximately 10 to 12 inches wide. It features fleshy, ovate leaves with a bright lime green center edged in creamy white margins, forming dense mounds of foliage. In late summer to early autumn, it produces clusters of tiny, star-shaped pink flowers that rise just above the foliage, providing striking contrast and seasonal interest.

Cultivation:
Zone: USDA Zones 4 to 9
Temperature: Tolerant from -30°C to 30°C
Growth Rate: Moderate
Soil: Requires well-drained soil amended with pumice for aeration and moisture control
Watering: Water deeply but infrequently, allowing soil to dry completely between watering
Fertilizing: Apply diluted balanced fertilizer every 2–3 weeks during the growing season
Light: Prefers full sun but tolerates partial shade; brighter light enhances leaf variegation
Pests and Diseases: Generally resistant to pests and disease; overwatering may cause root rot or fungal issues

Propagation:
Easily propagated by stem cuttings or division; also rootable from individual leaves with proper care.
