Ortegocactus
Ortegocactus is a genus of cacti with only one species, Ortegocactus mcdougalii, and are native to a small area in Oaxaca Mexico. They are found growing on lime stone and prefer a soil that is a bit alkaline. These plants come from a very dry area and are very intolerant of over watering. Fertilizer should be used with care if at all. These plants are not the easiest to grow but are well worth the effort and will reward by creating beautiful clumps over time.
