Echinofossulocactus
Echinofossulcactus is a genus of small ball cacti from northern and central Mexico that rarely exceed 4” in diameter. This genus has recently been amalgamated with Stenocactus but many seed and plant suppliers are still trading under the Echinofussulocactus name. We have elected to keep the names that the seed was supplied with. These cacti are very early flowering and can be the first to flower in the greenhouse. Flowers are often candy striped making them very eye catching. Even when these plants are not flower they are quite attractive with their many ribs.
