Agave 'Blue Ember' is a hybrid species of uncertain parentage, but named by Kelly Griffins. It combines characteristics of blue and red-toned agaves, suggesting lineage from Mexican highland species. It thrives in arid to semi-arid regions, preferring rocky slopes with excellent drainage and full sun exposure.
