x Sedeveria 'Letizia'

Origin and Habitat:

x Sedeveria 'Letizia' is a hybrid succulent, a cross between Sedum and Echeveria, combining the best traits of both genera. While not naturally occurring, its parent species are native to Mexico and Central America, thriving in dry, rocky habitats with excellent drainage. This hybrid is well-adapted to arid environments, where it can endure prolonged periods of drought and intense sunlight. Its compact growth and vibrant coloration make it a popular choice for ornamental gardening and container arrangements.

Description:

x Sedeveria 'Letizia' forms small, tightly packed rosettes that reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter, developing into a clustered, shrubby growth habit. The bright green leaves turn red along the edges when exposed to full sun, intensifying during cooler temperatures. Its fleshy leaves have a glossy texture, adding to its visual appeal. In late spring to summer, it produces delicate, star-shaped white flowers on short stems, enhancing its beauty.
