Trichocereus tarijensis var. poco originates from the Tarija region of Bolivia. It thrives in high-altitude semi-arid environments, often growing on rocky slopes and in well-drained valleys. This cactus is adapted to withstand intense sunlight and minimal rainfall, relying on its robust structure to store water. It is a key component of its ecosystem, providing shelter and food for local wildlife.

Description:
This robust columnar cactus grows up to 10-12 feet tall and 6-8 inches in diameter. Its green stems are adorned with 8-14 ribs and large, golden-yellow spines. The flowers are funnel-shaped, ranging from white to light pink, and bloom at night, measuring up to 6 inches in diameter. These flowers are visually striking and emit a subtle fragrance, attracting nocturnal pollinators.
