Origin and Habitat:
Trichocereus bridgesii, commonly known as the Bolivian Torch Cactus, is native to the high-altitude regions of Bolivia. It thrives in rocky, well-draining soils and experiences extreme temperature variations between hot days and cool nights. The species is highly drought-tolerant and adapted to arid conditions, making it well-suited for cultivation in dry and semi-arid climates.

Description:
This hybrid, Trichocereus bridgesii Wowie x T. bridgesii SS02, features a columnar growth habit, reaching up to 10 feet (300 cm) in height and 4–6 inches (10–15 cm) in diameter. Its blue-green skin is marked by prominent vertical ribs and long, golden-brown spines. During the flowering season, it produces large, showy, white nocturnal flowers with a pleasant fragrance, attracting nighttime pollinators.

Zone: Suitable for USDA zones 8–11.
Temperature: Prefers warm conditions but tolerates temperatures down to -5°C in dry soil.
