Accepted Scientific Name: Titanopsis calcarea

Origin and Habitat:
Titanopsis calcarea is native to South Africa, particularly in the Northern Cape and Free State provinces. It thrives in semi-arid regions with rocky, limestone-rich soils, blending seamlessly into its environment due to its textured and camouflaged leaves. This succulent is well-adapted to harsh climates, tolerating extreme sunlight and low rainfall.

Description:
This compact succulent forms a rosette up to 2 inches in diameter, with thick, fleshy leaves covered in rough, wart-like textures that mimic limestone surfaces. The leaves vary in color, ranging from gray-green to bluish-gray with orange or white tips. In late autumn or early winter, Titanopsis calcarea produces small, daisy-like flowers in shades of yellow or pale orange, adding a vibrant touch to its appearance.
