Accepted Scientific Name: Neoporteria gerocephala
Origin and Habitat:
Neoporteria gerocephala is native to coastal regions of Chile, where it grows in rocky, mineral-rich soils often influenced by ocean fog. These habitats experience mild temperatures, low rainfall, and high humidity from coastal mist. Plants are adapted to limited water availability and benefit from moisture collected from fog, thriving in well-drained, exposed conditions.
