Origin and Habitat:
Endemic to the Northern Cape of South Africa, Lithops julii ssp. fulleri grows on quartz and limestone plains, where its pale coloration blends with bleached stones. Rainfall is minimal and occurs mainly in late summer to autumn, driving the plant’s seasonal growth cycle.

Description:
Bodies are 1–1.5 inches wide, pale grey to off-white with purple to brown network-like markings across flat tops. Surfaces are slightly rugose, enhancing camouflage. Autumn flowers are white, daisy-like, often larger than the leaf body, emerging from the central fissure.

Cultivation:
Zone: 10–11.
Temperature: Best 18–27°C, tolerates down to 5°C if dry.
Growth Rate: Slow.
Soil: Needs pumice-heavy, free-draining soil.
Watering: Sparse during growth, no water during leaf replacement.
Fertilizing: Diluted fertilizer every 2–3 weeks while actively growing.
Light: Bright light to full sun, protect from extremes.
Pests and Diseases: Mealybugs, rot from excess moisture.

Seed propagation, occasional clump splitting.
