Echeveria 'Lotus'
Origin and Habitat
Echeveria 'Lotus' is a hybrid cultivar inspired by the natural beauty of Echeveria species, native to Mexico and Central America. These regions are characterized by rocky terrains, arid climates, and intense sunlight. Designed for ornamental use, this hybrid retains the resilience of its wild ancestors, thriving in similar environments with well-draining soil and minimal rainfall. It has become a popular choice for both outdoor landscaping and indoor décor worldwide.
Description
Echeveria 'Lotus' forms a perfectly symmetrical rosette that mimics the shape of a lotus flower. The rosette can grow up to 8 inches in diameter, with fleshy, pastel-colored leaves that range from light green to soft pink, depending on the light intensity. In late spring or summer, tall stalks emerge, bearing delicate bell-shaped flowers in hues of coral and orange, adding vibrant contrast to the subtle rosette tones.
