Annual. Also known as Golden Flower of the Aztecs. Brilliant, red-orange, 2-3" flowers. An excellent butterfly plant, these produce masses of blooms over a very long season. The large 5' plants are striking. Founder Jere Gettle enjoyed these along the roadsides in the high mountains of central Mexico.

Growing Tips: Direct sow in spring, or start indoors 2-3 weeks before last frost. Set out after last frost, transplant carefully. Plants require full sun, rich soil and moderate soil moisture.
