Huernia

Huernia

With close to 50 species this is one of the largest genus in the Stapeliads. This genus has a huge range with species through South Africa, up through Central Africa, and the horn of Africa, and in to the Middle East. Due to the considerable variety of flowers, and ease of cultivation this genus is one of the most widely collected of the Stapliads. Flowers are also some of the lease scented. With careful watering in the winter these plants can be very rewarding.
