HOME SUCCULENTS CACTI COLD HARDY SPECIMAN PLANTS PERENNIALS BULBS

Yucca is a genus of perennial shrubs and trees that are closely related to the Agaves. The 40–50 species are notable for their rosettes of evergreen, tough, sword-shaped leaves and large terminal panicles of white or whitish flowers. They are native to the hot and dry (arid) parts of the Americas and the Caribbean. Some species of Yuccas have proved to be very adaptable and are very cold and wet hardy. This makes them idea as large specimens in a landscape setting. If you have never seen a Yucca flower words don’t do it justice. Many species will reliably flower each year putting on a massive display of creamy white flowers.
