These small cacti are native to Peru Argentina and Bolivia. They are closely related to Echinopsis and can hybridize easily. Lobivia like a cold dry winter and if given these condition will readily flower in the spring. The flower colors range from yellow, orange, red to purple, and can obscure the plant. These cacti are often clumping and can create quite a specimen with age.
